How a commission becomes money

Someone opens your link
We remember the visit for 60 days. If they open another affiliate's link afterwards, the most recent link counts.
Step 2
They subscribe
From their first payment you earn 20% of each one for 12 months: monthly, yearly, upgrades included. They get 20% off their first month on a monthly plan.
Step 3
It waits 30 days
That covers refunds. A refunded or disputed payment takes its commission back, even one that was already paid.
Step 4
You get paid every month
On the 2nd of each month we review and send what has cleared: as credit on your own Track Link bill, or to your bank through Stripe once you have $50 or more.

Terms

Joining means you agree to these.

Commission. 20% of each subscription payment a customer you referred makes, for 12 months from their first payment. Tax is not included, and payments in other currencies count at the US dollar amount Stripe settles them for.
Who counts as yours. A new account opened within 60 days of visiting your link. The most recent affiliate link wins, and once an account is credited it does not move. Your own accounts never count.
Holds and refunds. Each commission waits 30 days. Refunds and chargebacks take it back, and if it was already paid, the amount comes off your next payout.
Payouts. Monthly, after we review them. Account credit has no minimum and applies to accounts billed in US dollars. Bank transfers go through Stripe from $50, with Stripe's payout fee taken out of the transfer.
Not allowed. Bidding on Track Link or gettrack.link in search ads, spam, referring yourself, and describing Track Link inaccurately. Commissions earned that way are cancelled, and we may close the affiliate account.
Taxes and changes. You are responsible for tax on what you earn; Stripe may ask for a tax form. We give 30 days' notice by email before changing these terms, and commissions you already earned keep the terms they were earned under.

Questions

Do I need a paid plan to join?

No. Any Track Link account can join, including a free one, and joining costs nothing.

How much is 20% in practice?

One customer on Pro for a year earns you $23.98. A yearly plan earns 20% of the yearly payment. There is no cap on how many customers you can refer.

What does the person I refer get?

20% off their first month on any monthly plan. Stripe checkout shows it automatically when they came through your link.

How do I get paid?

As account credit on your own Track Link bill, with no minimum, or by bank transfer through Stripe from $50. Stripe's payout fee comes out of a bank transfer: $2 for the month plus 0.25% and 25 cents, a little more outside the US. Stripe handles your bank details and tax form; we never see them.

Which countries can be paid to a bank?

Any country Stripe can send payouts to. If yours is not one of them, you are paid in account credit.

Can I choose my own link?

Yes. Pick a code of 3 to 24 letters, numbers or hyphens, such as gettrack.link/?via=yourname, and change it later from your affiliate page. The old code stops working when you change it.
