To track ClickBank conversions, add aff_sub1={click_id} to your hoplink in Track Link, then paste your Track Link postback URL into ClickBank with the {aff_sub1}, {affiliate_earnings}, {order_currency} and {receipt_id} macros. Each approved sale arrives with your commission and lands on the click that made it.
Set up ClickBank tracking
Once per ClickBank account. New hoplinks only need step 1.
1. Add aff_sub1 to your hoplink
Create a Track Link link with your ClickBank hoplink as the destination and add aff_sub1={click_id}. The Links page spots ClickBank and offers to add it for you. Every visitor then reaches ClickBank with their own click ID.
2. Paste the postback URL into ClickBank
Open Conversions in Track Link, pick ClickBank and copy the postback URL. In ClickBank go to ClickBank → Integrations → Postback URL, paste it and save.
3. Pick the right triggers
Turn on the initial-sale and upsell triggers only. Order-form impression triggers would be counted as conversions.
4. Test with your own click
Click your Track Link link, copy the click ID from the address bar and call the postback URL with it. The response header X-Tracklink-Result should say created.

What each ClickBank macro does

Upsells count once each
Every receipt is its own conversion, so a front-end sale plus two upsells shows as three — and a ClickBank retry of the same receipt is ignored.
Revenue is your commission
{affiliate_earnings} is what ClickBank pays you, not the product price, so revenue and ROI per link show what you actually earn.

Where do I paste the postback URL in ClickBank?
In ClickBank → Integrations → Postback URL. Turn on the initial-sale and upsell triggers only. Order-form impression triggers would be counted as conversions.
What does Track Link receive from ClickBank?
The click ID from aff_sub1, your commission, its currency and the receipt number. That is enough to put the sale on the right click, show the commission as revenue, and count each upsell once.
Do I need a pixel on the vendor's sales page?
No. The vendor owns the sales page, so you can't install anything there — and you don't need to. The postback goes from ClickBank's server to Track Link, so ad blockers and closed tabs can't lose the sale.
Why does my postback show 'Macro not filled'?
ClickBank sent the text {aff_sub1} instead of a click ID. That happens when the visitor's hoplink didn't carry aff_sub1 — check that your Track Link destination ends with aff_sub1={click_id}, not a fixed value.
Can I see which ad or placement made the ClickBank sale?
Yes. Use one Track Link link per placement or ad (or add UTM tags to it). Each sale lands on the click that made it, so revenue shows per link, per UTM source and per campaign.
